Development

Being guided under when people called Radiation Strategy, Qionghai is stalking along the way of urbanization. A series of infrastructure facilities and accessory constructions concerning highway, water and power supply, communication, drainage, fire fighting, illumination and beautification etc. have become perfect bit by bit. Now, the urban area of Qionghai is stretching out gradually. The status of Qionghai is also moving up. Reason from this point, a grant Qionghai will definitely emerge soon.

Harbor Along the coastline, total 4 ports including Longwan, Tanmen, Boao and Qingge are crouched. The first is a natural harbor in the east of Hainan province with unique water depth as deep as 15-22 meters. Such a formidable advantage provides great opportunities to build deep-water berths up to 200 for 10000 –200000 tons ocean ships. Longwan Port is not only close to the old conference site of Boao Asia Forum but also 55 sea miles away from the chief international transportation route linking Europe and Asia. Pairing up with Rotterdam Harbor of Netherlands, Longwan Port pulls together to build a multi-functional harbor basis in the Far East Asia. Moreover, Tanmen National Central Fishery has been listed as an important fishery in China.

Communication

National Highway 223 and Island East Expressway pass through Qionghai thoroughly from south and north orientations. Additionally, other 2 provincial roads run through Qionghai. Total 4 pairs of entrance and exit are arranged for highways. A high sophisticated road network has already come out in Qionghai leading to different directions. By automobile, it takes only some time to drive 2100 kilometers covering everywhere of Qionghai.

Water Supply

Qionghai reserves around 279 billion cubic meters drinking water in conformity with national classification Ⅱregulations. Speaking of reservoirs, Qionghai owns 7 in total, storing 25.9 billion cubic meters water. Guantang thermal fountain generates flowing hot water measuring 70-90℃ 10700 tons per day. Around the world it is not common to discover other hot springs in such a scale. In regard with water supplying capacity of Jiaji town, it is definitely confident to meet water supply need for urban and industrial development in the 10 years to come.

Power Transmission Qionghai generates surplus electricity that is manipulated without exception by the provincial power networks. Except Niulu Ridge Hydraulic Electricity Station, there are more than 26 power generation stations in different size, installed capacity reaching 99700 kilowatt and electricity being generated approximating 3 billion kilowatt per hour each year. At present, a number of transformer substations with varied capacities of 220KV, 110KV, 110KV and 110KV have been erected in Guantang, Peilan, Qionghai, Panshui respectively.

Post Service Currently, digitalization of telecommunication has been obtained, capable of getting through more than 200 countries and regions around the global. The post service offices have expanded to reach 29 in number among which 21 are electronic business offices.
